POSITION: Experienced and Trainee Production Planner

SALARY: A competitive salary is on offer

HOURS: Monday – Friday 8.15am – 4.30pm

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking to recruit a Production Coordinator to ensure the effective planning of the Gluing and Cut/Crease Departments through the creation of production plans to maximise efficiencies and meet customer delivery dates.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan the production of all gluing work, incorporating knowledge of machinery to ensure all work can be produced and customer delivery deadlines met.
  • Liaise with all relevant departments to ensure sufficient delivery of the gluing plan.
  • Work alongside and communicate with the Planning Team to ensure the gluing plan meets the needs of the business.
  • Identify any peaks in demand and request additional hours where applicable.
  • Highlight any potential late deliveries and communicate this information to the Customer Services Team and agree revised delivery date.
  • Record any production shorts and communicate this information to the Customer Services and Management Team.
  • Ensure all relevant jobs are closed off daily using the Job Closure Report.
  • Amend any production discrepancies as instructed by the Transport Manager.
  • Provide written communication regarding machines due to run each shift.
  • Provide planning cover during absence/holidays once further training is completed by creating Cut/Crease plans to maximise groupings of work according to profile, braille, board size and type.
  • Ensure adherence at all times to the Company’s Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures and maintain compliance to appropriate standards.
  • The quality management system has been designed and developed to meet the requirements of ISO9001, PS9000, BRC/IOP, FSC and PEFC.  The quality management system defines the Company’s policies and standard operating procedures on design, product security and safety, hygiene, environment, resource and training.
  • Carry out work safely in the interests of other employees and themselves, in compliance with current legislation and Company Environmental, Health & Safety procedures, including general housekeeping.
  • Any other tasks associated with this role, which are suited to the individual’s abilities and level of training as directed by the Line Manager.

POSITION: Trainee Customer Service Account Executive

SALARY: Between £7.49 – £10.42

HOURS: Monday – Friday 8.15am – 4.30pm

Due to the ongoing success of the company, we are seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Customer Service Account Executive to join our internal sales team. As a Trainee Customer Service Account Executive, you will have a desire to learn new things.  All training and support will be provided, to enable you to take on the key responsibilities of the role.

KEY REPSONSIBILTIES

  • To be responsible for the running and upkeep of customers’ accounts. The role will include producing instructions for new and repeat orders and the scheduling of customer call-offs.
  • Check all information, ensuring all relevant documents are attached within 24 hours of receipt, prior to release of job bag to planning/production departments.
  • Liaising with the External Sales Managers as well as design departments including CAD and Repro on new profile/artwork orders. You will require the ability to be able to pull together specifications, artworks, cad drawings, quotes and samples in order to progress an order.
  • To administer relevant customer amendments to orders/artworks promptly.
  • Prioritise workload on a regular basis within the working day, in accordance with emails and calls received.
  • Build relationships with customers through regular catch ups in person, online (Teams) or by telephone.
  • Contact customers to request payment of invoices as requested by the Finance team.
  • Proactively support continuous improvement projects within the department.
  • Recommend any potential improvements to the Sales Office Manager.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate filing and archiving of all customer orders and correspondence.
  • Offer an exceptional service to customers, acting as an ambassador of the company, and always presenting a professional and positive image to customers.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Due to the ongoing success of the company, we are seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Analyst to join our internal IT team.

KEY REPSONSIBILTIES

  • Providing technical assistance to users for various software, including the company’s ERP system, Microsoft Applications, and Microsoft Windows. This involves troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operation of these systems.
  • Managing the company’s network infrastructure, which includes both Wide Area Networks (WANs) and Local Area Networks (LANs). This involves making necessary additions and changes to these networks.
  • Supporting the continual improvement of the existing IT software and hardware infrastructure. This includes managing bespoke application software, Microsoft applications, operating systems, and various hardware elements used by the company.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of all IT systems within the company. This involves regular checks and maintenance activities to prevent potential issues.
  • Diagnosing and resolving any IT-related issues that arise within the company. This may involve working closely with other IT professionals or external vendors.
  • Participating in the development of IT strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the company.
  • Providing necessary training to staff members on the use of various IT systems and applications.
  • Keeping records of all IT-related issues, resolutions, and changes made within the company’s IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure good-working relationships with superiors, peers, and any 3rd party visitors at all times

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong customer service ethos: Being able to provide excellent service to users is a key aspect of this role. Ability to work well with people from all backgrounds: This helps in understanding and addressing diverse user needs.
  • Strong communication skills: Effective communication is essential for explaining technical information in a way that non-technical people can understand.
  • Excellent organisational skills: These are needed for managing multiple tasks and issues effectively.
  • Experience: A background in tech support or similar roles. With 2+ years’ experience in managing network infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing user support for various IT systems is beneficial.
  • Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, such as computer science or information technology, or equivalent professional qualifications.
