POSITION: Gluing Machine Operator 

SALARY: Up to £31,000 /annum inclusive of shift allowance DOE 

HOURS: 36.6 hours per week on a permanent basis.

SHIFT PATTERN: Earlies (week1): Monday-Thursday 6am to 1.25pm, Friday 6am to 1pm 

                              Lates (week2): Monday-Thursday 1.20pm to 9pm, Friday 12.55pm to 6.55pm 

25 days holiday + bank holidays off – Free parking on site

LOCATION: Crewe, CW1 6UL

 

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Gluing Operator to join our Finishing Department. Our Gluing Operators set, maintain and oversee our finishing lines producing cartons to individual customer requirements. You will adjust machine settings and maintain run speeds and work safely to produce the high quality cartons our customers expect.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, set-up and run dedicated operating machines
  • Maintain run-speed’ to produce planned work within specified shift
  • Responsibility for 2-3 Finishing Assistants during shift
  • Ensure accurate completion of required documentation
  • Carryout scheduled machine maintenance
  • Maintain company standards relating to conduct and performance, quality and environmental and health and safety  

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Experienced machine operator (3+ years)
  • Good standard of maths, written and spoken English (GCSE level or equivalent)
  • Interest in print and/or manufacturing 

DESIRABLE

  •  Experience of print/manufacturing/warehouse/logistic environment
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements

POSITION: Warehouse Administrator 

SALARY: £20,000 – £21,000 /annum 

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basic

WORK PATTERN: Monday – Friday 8.15am – 4.30pm 

25 days holiday + bank holidays off – Free parking on site

LOCATION: Crewe, CW1 6UL

 

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Warehouse Administrator to support our Transport Manager and dispatch team. 

As Warehouse Administrator, you will be an integral part of the warehouse team. You will assist in the organisation of transport, maintain accurate stock records, be proactive and strive to improve efficiency wherever possible. 

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support organisation of transport as required
  • Ensure POD’s are promptly received to allow invoicing to be completed 
  • Administration of pallet stock, ensuring stock is booked in, put away, transferred, ordered and scrapped as required, following company procedures
  • Update delivery tracker and distribute daily, within required timeframe
  • Control orders to and from supplier for ‘outwork’ 
  • Carry out weekly consumable stock take
  • Administration of delivery note, including scanning and updating
  • Provide occasional cover for warehouse operatives 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Administration 1 year 
  • Mathematics and English GCSE level or equivalent 

DESIRABLE

  • Counterbalance/Reach truck license 
  • Experience within warehouse/logistics/manufacturing environment

POSITION: Finishing Assistant / Production Operative 

SALARY: £21,985 – £25,426 /annum

HOURS: 36.6 hours per week on a permanent basic

25 days holiday + bank holidays off – Free parking on site 

AVAILABLE SHIFT PATTERNS: 

Double Days £19,117.80 basic salary + 15% shift allowance (£21,985.47)

Earlies (Week 1): Monday – Thursday 6am to 1.25pm, Friday 6am to 1pm 

Lates (Week 2): Monday – Thursday 1.20pm to 9pm, Friday 12.55pm to 6.55pm 

Night Shift £19,117.80 basic salary + 33% shift allowance (£25,426.67)

Monday – Thursday 8.55pm to 6.05am 

LOCATION: Crewe, CW1 6UL

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Finishing Assistant with Medica Packaging, you will be an essential member of our production team. Your role will be to ensure our flat cartons are safely loaded into the feed, move securely through equipment, carefully inspected and packaged according to customers’ individual requirement. As the last person to see our finished goods before the customer, attention to detail and high standards are essential.

SALARY: £21,985/annum £19,117.80 plus shift allowance 

HOURS: £11.27 per hour (£9.80 + 15% shift allowance), 36.6 hours per week on a permanent basis

25 days holiday + Bank holidays off – Free parking onsite 

WORK PATTERN: Earlies (Week 1) – Monday – Thursday 6am to 1.25pm, Friday 6am to 1pm

                               Lates (Week 2) – Monday – Thursday 1.20pm to 9pm, Friday 12.55pm to 6.55pm  

LOCATION: Crewe, CW1 6UL

DESCRIPTION:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be careful to ensure our raw materials and finished goods are stored, shipped and received in perfect condition. You will work safely, maintain accurate stock records, be proactive and strive to improve efficiency wherever possible. 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Goods in- Unload, check and book in raw materials
  • Ensure raw materials are available for production 
  • Use pallet turner to prepare raw materials for production 
  • Booking in all finished goods and ensuring products are stored and labelled correctly
  • Load finished goods for delivery and ensure that appropriate paperwork is correct
  • Maintain accurate stock record – carry out daily inventory checks
  • Ensure daily checks are carried out for MHE 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Counterbalance and Reach truck license

DESIRABLE

  • Experience within warehouse/logistics/manufacturing
  • Knowledge of print, carton and leaflet manufacture
